        Calibration of hydraulic torque wrenches is essential to ensure accuracy
and reliability. Hydraulic torque wrenches can lose their torque accuracy over time
due to many factors, such as wear and tear, temperature changes, and external
forces. Regular calibration is therefore important to maintain performance and
ensure that the tool’s torque is accurate and precise for flange tightening operations.

        A hydraulic torque wrench that has not been calibrated at least once a year
may experience inaccuracies due to the deterioration of its seals and components.
This can result in unreliable torque readings and the risk of leakage, tool
deterioration, breakage, or fracture, which can result in operator injury or even death.
